Frequently Asked Questions

What safety protocol do you practice for COVID-19?
As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve, we will monitor the guidance put forth by local county and state ordinances and recommendations. Above all, we strive to keep the environment at Sunkiss'd Mozart a safe one. As our first concerts of the next season draw near, we will post more specific guidance on safety measures for attending Sunkiss'd Mozart concerts.
What is your concert environment?
In this upcoming second season of Sunkiss'd Mozart, we are hoping to be able to utilize both our outdoor and indoor concert spaces to provide the safest and most comfortable experiences for everybody. In the event of cold or otherwise inclement weather, we will plan on holding concerts in our newly constructed indoor concert hall.
How does your audience seating work?
Our seating is first-come-first-serve at the moment. However, because of COVID-19 safety, upon arrival, guests should look for a seat group that matches the number of guests from their RSVP.
Do you have parking?
Information about parking is sent out to RSVP'd guests prior to each concert along with other useful information. The short answer is yes, we have enough parking for the number of guests we can accommodate.
Where is your concert program? What repertoire are you performing?
We want to present our concerts like an "omakase" dinner at a sushi restaurant. Omakase means "I'll leave it up to you", implying "chef's choice". While we have been preparing for some time for what we will be playing leading up to the concert, we want to share our music with the audience with a sense of discovery and surprise, as many things performed often have some surprise elements. However, the mystery is in no way intimidating, our musicians introduce each piece to the audience in a conversation prior to each piece's performance, so exactly like an omakase dinner. We encourage our guests to come with an adventurous frame of mind.
I am interested in what you do, but can't make it to the concert. What can I do to be involved?
There are many ways to get involved. For starters, you can sign up for our mailing list to get updates on all future events while learning something fun and intriguing about music through little nuggets of knowledge that we include in each of our newsletters.

Even if you can't make it to the concert, a great way to support us is to still RSVP and then give those seats out to friends. The RSVP donations allow us to keep the musicians playing and bringing you more beautiful music. You can also donate directly to us to help us with future concert planning. And if there's any other kind of in-kind support you'd like to give or people you would like to refer us to, to help us grow, please feel free to reach out and send us a message.
How does the donation process work?
We have a fiscal sponsorship that allows us to accept tax-deductible donations through New Asia Chamber Music Society, which is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempted nonprofit organization.

When you donate through our website donation page, it goes through a secure payment system called Stripe, that provides its service by taking a small percentage of your donation.

To make a fee-free donation, you can write a check made out to our fiscal sponsor "New Asia Chamber Music Society", with "For Sunkiss'd Mozart" in the memo section and mail the check to:
